Telling the story of the Town Lake Trail heightened my responsibility for presenting this beloved treasure in an appropriate manner, so I engaged the
assistance of an extremely gifted team whose diligence and hard work is really what created this book. To begin with, copywriters Megan Laibovitz
and Mariel Falbo brought their expert skills to the table in a strategy that not only benefited the editing, but their keen advice helped shape the message
in its clarity. The rest of the project was created through a collective effort of friends of the Trail and three of the most talented craftsmen I know:
Russ Ohlson - Photographer
Russ' relaxed and natural style of photography is exemplified in the pleasing compositions of many of the featured individuals and scenic
photographs in the book. His photography has been a family tradition for thousands of clients over the past forty six years, including the late
President Ford, serving as his personal family photographer for over twenty years after he left the White House. Russ holds the honorary
degree of Master of Photography from the Professional Photographers of America and has had the honor of being selected as the official
photographer for four of the last six presidential inaugurations. He currently owns and operates a family beach portrait studio on Cape Cod
and has traveled to Austin on several occasions to assist with the production of this book.

Brenda Lindfors - Photographer
Brenda is a Central Texas photographer whose portrait, fine art, and landscape photography has received numerous honors and awards. Brenda
lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband and three children, all of whom claim that Brenda has never met a person, place, or thing that she did
not want to photograph. Having grown up in Austin, the Trail has been an important part of her experience since childhood, as she's spent
countless hours on the Trail over the years. This project has given Brenda a unique opportunity to combine her passion for photography with
her love of the Trail and her longstanding interest in regional planning and public health issues. Her extraordinary work has helped capture the
essence of the Trail and honor those whose vision and commitment have helped to make Austin the special place that it is today.

illustration. For over 22 years, Steve has worked with employers and clients such as The University of Texas, Motorola, Freescale
Semiconductor, and Texas Highways Magazine. A life-long Austinite and graduate of The University of Texas, his experiences range from
